The project is a cohesive visual promotion of the musical Come From Away adapted from the remarkable true story of natives and passengers from planes forced landing in Gander after 911. The post-911 story mainly narrates how human resilience is reflected through the process of cultural exchange and communication in a confined and remote space after the sudden upheaval of the universal tragedy.
In this project, I conceptualized individual as small dots and connected each of them with lines which served as a token of interpersonal connection and synthesized a visual system based on these elements. The application of wood represented the unvarnished local culture of Newfoundland which formed a contrast between different cultures.
该项目是对音乐剧 "来自远方"(Come From Away)的视觉宣传,音乐剧改编自 "911 "事件后在甘德迫降的当地人和飞机乘客的真实故事。故事主要讲述了在一场突如其来的世界性悲剧的动荡之后,人类如何在一个封闭而偏远的空间里通过文化交流和沟通的过程体现出坚韧不拔的精神。
在这个项目中,我将个体概念化为一个个小点,并用线条将每个小点连接起来,作为人际联系的象征,并在这些元素的基础上合成了一个视觉系统。木头的应用代表了纽芬兰未经雕琢的地方文化,形成了不同文化之间的对比。
整体品牌设计目标为更新剧目视觉呈现,建立属于南京大学歌声魅影剧社排练版本专属的品牌信息。内容包括视觉元素和风格的确定,主题、辅助颜色选择,周边种类选择以及包装设计,网站设计,场刊设计等。
